The key to solving this puzzle is to notice that the words in any one ring relate in some way to each of the words in the ring immediately inside it.

If you start with the YELLOW ring and rotating it so that connected words with the ORANGE Ring are together:

BOX/ROOM, ARM/PIT, TIGER/LILY, MAN/HOLE, DAY/BREAK, TOOTH/PICK, RISING/DAMP, FISH/HOOK, SOME/TIME, OVER/THROW, END/GAME, SIDE/PLATE

The revised puzzle now looks like the image in FIRST ROTATION below.

Repeating this process and rotating the MAGENTA ring to match words with the YELLOW ring:

HORSE/BOX, SIDE/ARM, PAPER/TIGER, ACTION/MAN, DOG/DAY, EYE/TOOTH, UP/RISING, COLD/FISH, HAND/SOME, CROSS/OVER, BOOK/END, BACK/SIDE
