The Hunt is a “Treasure Hunt” style puzzle, where the obiective is to discover a hidden location.

The specific location may be given in words, as an OS map reference, via longitude and lattitude cordinates or via “Just Three Words” In every case the answer will link back to aspects of the theme of the puzzle.

Determining how the the puzzle actually works is all part of the challenge.

Be warned – instructions may be quite limited or even non-existent!

You may use whatever on-line resources you may find helpful, including on-line forums to discuss puzzles and share hints, although we would ask that people do not give too much away!

Each puzzle is primarily designed to be solved on-line as it may be mportant or helpful to zoom in on aspects of an image to pick up fine detail.

When you think you have the solution, simply enter it into the solution boxes provided to check your answer.

There are four puzzles currently on the site to get you started and further ones will be added every three months, starting with our Christmas puzzle on the 1st December 2026.
